Who we are and what this covers
The website at theauth.dev is published by GLINCKER LLC, which operates theAuth under the GLINR STUDIOS name. In these terms, “we” means GLINCKER LLC.
By using the website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it. The website needs no account. theAuth Cloud is in early access and will be covered by its own terms, not these.
The software is licensed separately
The theAuth libraries are open source under the MIT license. The license text is the LICENSE file in each repository, for example glincker/theauth and glincker/theauth-go. That license, not these terms, governs your use, copying and modification of the software.
Nothing in these website terms limits the rights the MIT license gives you. If a file in a repository carries a different license notice, that notice applies to that file.
Using the website
You may read the site, link to it, and quote reasonable excerpts with attribution. Please do not:
- use the site in a way that breaks the law or infringes others’ rights;

- present the site, or a modified copy of it, as an official source of ours.
Site content and brand
The text, layout and graphics of the website, and the theAuth name and logo, are provided so you can learn about and evaluate the project. If you want to reuse the logo or site design beyond describing the project, please ask first.
Accuracy and no advice
We try to keep the site accurate, but software changes quickly and pages can be out of date. The source code and the documentation at docs.theauth.dev are the authoritative references. Test before you rely on anything you read here.
Nothing on the site is legal, security or compliance advice. Descriptions of compliance reports, such as mappings to the EU AI Act, NIST, SOC 2 or ISO 42001, describe reports the software can generate. They are not certifications, attestations or statements that any organization complies with a standard.
Other sites and services
The site links to services we do not control, including GitHub, npm and the documentation site. We are not responsible for their content, availability or terms.
No warranty
The website and the information on it are provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, availability and fitness for a particular purpose. The software carries its own disclaimer in the MIT license.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GLINCKER LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits or revenues, arising from your use of the website. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The current version is always at this address, with its date at the top. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept the updated terms.
